Dr. Jared Kipnis graduated from Stony Brook University in 2006 obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and in January 2013 obtained the designation as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist from the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS). While specializing in spinal and joint mobilization/manipulation, he emphasizes the use of manual therapy and functional exercise as methods to effectively treat patients forming a cohesive team with the patient.
On multiple occasions, he has functioned as a Lab Assistant for MAPS where he demonstrates and instructs licensed clinicians and students in hands-on techniques. In 2017, Dr. Kipnis became an Active Release Techniques Full Body provider as well as receiving their certification in Long Tract Nerve Entrapment protocols.
Dr. Kipnis is a Fellow in Training with the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship program where he will be obtaining the highest level of clinical training available to a physical therapist.
